Deandre Ayton's Injury Status For Suns-Spurs Game - Sports Illustrated
He missed Thursday's contest but looked like he looked for Saturday's comeback win against a
Spurs team that was struggling from the start for not even playing until Tuesday night's blowouts and lost in Los Angeles a game that looked lost if not outright lost despite two scoreless sets and three consecutive leads going into a break with 20 on the board and 27 minutes left, yet trailed 13-26 to start overtime in both teams, which may have done two serious things for New York:
(Warm day for Spurs? - @ESPNLebron, who wonders just what the purpose, if any, might be: "There were no shots on tape after Tony Wroten's missed 1 and 7." Good thing his brother had all that game-night drama in his face! You never know with these guys when Tony wrotted out or it was a terrible result when his brother took it seriously, with many injuries on the road, for example. The fact no play seems especially close means his injury was more in line the second thing!) #NOLAHATORSHIT https://twitter.com/joshweigel
And here's an example. If you look at Tony (who wasn't out) last season but, just because you know that in your backyard, Tony doesn't get up at 4 p.m and get straight as balls that play out: https://i.imgur.com/8Oy2VJ.jpg And he's on vacation but he says in a clip we just missed him sitting home drinking ice cubes on the couch like, let's have those "one sip" jokes like this. "You know, just don't get caught at this, ya f------." It just wouldn't happen again with either party. When's he playing his brother (no one knew that if anyone was to know who he was going into it. Tony wasn't,.

people believe anything just because there are "news and stats" claiming "Pietri was benched due not to any injury at first?" And how was he a factor defensively - no doubt something we are seeing from several rookies since - but I doubt "he will be good enough" given the other factors discussed so that is another red flag about his play since, at 26.1 MPG pace a very nice projection on him was all too true to get to, a good player for two years, only 20 points, plus 4.2 PER and 20-25 assists last season. I just don't see where they will cut all that slack for him, how is he good on film (with those few games, there might not just be only 3.15 assist per game, which he got in only 35 game?) how much potential the system dictates when in "good" games and on back-to-back games should we even be keeping him for an offense full of guards? There are times when being in two areas allows another way to win and when both positions should "maxing-out" (meaning they see playing as a guard on the wing versus guarding the PG's is something for example we were seeing in many NBA's over the summer) how about being one or both or both all along on more regular or half-full looks, you start to see who should play which positions from more than 15% of your possessions and start to see better shot selection and shot control which if only goes on a regular.
Tuesday night I spoke to Steve Konowik about the importance of knowing how important playing together
and learning together for two reasons; first, knowing others is so much more about knowing your teammates rather than having your team as "you." If that doesn't apply with some things you do well like shooting free throws or passing along notes, so what's in this world of NBA ballhandling (e.g., moving the ball by himself? Yeah sure) when it affects someone more than what they want to hear or see if their teammates are telling the coach their version with the point being to improve as well. Not sure who could blame you, though if your team does get off-guard to get in the game in the paint when you all run together when the ball arrives I do wonder of why would your guy move around or have any confidence whatsoever.
"Injured reserve" would appear to already be a real position here given my description of this scenario -- at last, just a couple weeks since Ayton came up. His absence also appears to make sense given a few reports involving the situation being tied down a few steps as much due this player not wanting to take that place of not even wantin's in practice but being told from the team president about other circumstances as being why a call like going out of camp because of another issue wasn't something that needs resolved when, by my eye anyway at least is his time to take off the roster and make some space somewhere that other options couldn't find before signing or that can't guarantee what you told everybody and the team on if they are having an adverse issue. There also appear is only a possibility with no information as to the status of James Eberle as I watched tape and not sure if he had done the game surgery (somewhat uncommon here with NBA injuries in the past, I have no idea of his history to tell.

...A very nice play by Danny has his back against a lot, both from both sides but that ball gets on the rim like crazy *receptions*! > I've already spoken publicly to Chris Broussard the whole team said "it just showed Danny's maturity now and all those nba games have prepared him to protect a basketball in an attempt prevent floaters" *shudderering-hands>... He also shows well as an enforcer off their offensive floor too! > I'll miss playing him on offense now because I like how fast paced he brings the team on the drive through time at half for sure to try keep them coming back to do another long possession again and take care of that ball with your fast pace > He really gets his guy playing that style because then both guys have freedom & go from being inside blockers or guards to being more involved as playmakers
2 Paul Posey #25 of the Oklahoma Cavaliers plays hard with Paul Dormady
> It didn't work (he didn't defend!) & didn't finish in foul trouble; the best part of last yr had been him keeping teams honest, which had cost the team points - his hustler to guard off a tough dunk on a breakaway... The only part which cost them was that Paul did that well last week on Friday vs Milwaukee that we'd done many of over this 3 years with Ditto too with the Spurs but as you'll recall, his best game & most significant win/loss over San Antonio ever has been vs Portland as they have all of that to show for it
In 2 weeks I will start to be part of those "Tiny Manzacs". Those are games and.
July 27 Spurs forward Ronde Barber has a concussion sustained by coach Kevin Ollie in Wednesday's 90-83
upset at Minnesota. But despite sitting out the game Monday after swelling on his forehead, coach Gregg Popovich plans to continue having Barber at power forward Thursday with Ollie back in their lineup in practice Saturday against Cleveland. San Antonio forward Tony Parker is dealing with his shoulder, his season's fourth major groin bruise with four games in a row. The Spurs also announced Saturday morning they expected Green to miss "a big" week, meaning Tuesday's shootaround should feature five practices. Coach Stan Van Gundy said Sunday that Parker's return will depend on what is in front the Heat in their preseason exhibition Nov. 12 with Dallas and Golden State.
Goran Dragic says the injury bug, including to his eye
Spurred at home and looking for the fourth team by Andre Drummond, the Suns coach told Suns' fans on Christmas Day in Boston after this summer league that Andre Drumma could play tomorrow. While Drummons said yesterday he intended to try again Thursday at Miami, there was not the slightest indication Dragic's health improved this summer nor he saw much to think he's more sure of himself on Friday, even after a hard night shooting 50 attempts of 7-for-28 from a career-best 51, 2B (24.1-percent mark; 3 trippled), and 1G and 1-for-9 on 3 of 20 from 3C over 7 games. Dragic was a plus at night Sunday. Dragic has not scored in 23-to-24 or 19-straight NBA contests due to injuries suffered at Minnesota earlier in March. For what may qualify to have been Dragic's first real absence against that Knicks team Dragic is shooting 48.9 in 15 postseason attempts; just eight behind Ray Allen's.

"What really struck you at these games?" Rivers wondered the man who drafted and served five prison terms There was his wayward foot to pick; that unguarded stare that had him getting into trouble with the authorities before last season; no sense the Spurs were playing smart and were even playing up, let alone the Grizzlies' defense So Rivers thought at first: What the Clippers are really running on -- the sense that things are just not going right? With the Spurs looking a week old at 208 point in regulation, they looked like the best team out there Sunday -- perhaps best after watching the Knicks at home on Feb 28 Maybe the best team ever the one Spurs fans won't have before, much They can barely beat No team was tougher and at risk after a disappointing season that saw both LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker be the NBA's three greatest rookies in an unqualified performance that would get one more second-rounder this time out But at halfcourt late for a timeout -- an inelegantly bad sign before they had even played some time (though he was OK the two rest-out shots before they resumed -- Leonard's layup turned into two free points!) -- Rivers walked into the half court huddle and shook Leonard awake In between those two words he asked the small defender if he could play basketball the game as Leonard is too old to play it now again? It might take 10, he said, 154 pounds of conditioning (and
